Wild Bird Gallery is a work in progress. The goal is to make it a multimedia reference to the birds of the world. The purpose is to help in identification of species down to sub-species, age, and sex if at all possible.

1783 species & subspecies have been indexed with their scientific names, and the common english names as per the James F. Clements checklist and regularly updated with Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology changes.
